The Department of Neurosurgery to Host Visiting Professor Jan. 9

The LSU Health Shreveport Department of Neurosurgery is hosting Dr. Howard Riina from New York University Langone Medical Center as its Grand Rounds Visiting Professor on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at LSU Health Shreveport in Room 3-322.
Howard Riina, MD, FAANS, specializes in surgical and endovascular treatment for people who have cerebrovascular disorders of the brain and spinal cord. This includes patients with stroke, ruptured and unruptured brain aneurysms, and carotid disease, as well as vascular malformations.
Dr. Riina will share and provide insight from his professional career and experiences to an audience that includes LSU Health Shreveport Neurosurgery faculty, residents, PAs, NPs, and nurses; physicians and residents from relevant departments, such as neurology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, and surgery; medical students; and healthcare professionals from the local area and region.
