Dr. Anil Nanda, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at LSU Health Sciences Center - Shreveport, was elected President of the Society of University Neurosurgeons at the SUN Annual Meeting in Miami, Florida on March 24, 2010.
The 45th SUN Annual Meeting will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, from June 23-26th. The theme of the meeting is Intercontinental Neurosurgery.
The Society of University Neurosurgeons is a body of national and international neurosurgeons. Established in 1965, its members are elected.
The society hosts an annual meeting of program directors, chairmen, and academic leaders in the field of Neurological Surgery to highlight clinical and scientific endeavors in the neuroscience community. Each conference takes place in conjunction with a medical university and features academic discussion, scientific presentations, and scholarly lectures.
