Neurosurgery chairman lectures in Switzerland

Department of Neurosurgery Chairman and Professor Dr. Anil Nanda lectured at the University in Bern, Switzerland on Thursday, February 16, 2017.

Dr. Nanda delivered a presentation titled, “Skull Base Surgery: Quantums of Solace and Despair.” The University at Bern has a world-renowned neurosurgery department headed by Professor Dr. Andreas Raabe, who personally invited Dr. Nanda to speak.

Dr. Nanda also attended the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) meeting in Geneva, Switzerland that weekend and delivered a presentation on the adoption of new bylaws for the organization on Saturday, February 18.

The WFNS was founded in 1955 and is a professional, scientific, non-governmental organization comprising 5 Continental Associations, 115 National Neurosurgical Societies and 7 Affiliate Societies, representing some 30,000 neurosurgeons worldwide. They aspire to promote global improvement in neurosurgical care.*
